Our interlocutors have expectations, values, beliefs, and visions of the world that we cannot imagine at all. The management of projects in multicultural contexts requires awareness of the typical behaviours and values of one's own culture, the curiosity to understand the culture of the other, the ability to listen to what is not said and that dose of empathy that allows you to see the world through the eyes of the other.Emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence are therefore indispensable elements for effective cross-cultural leadership.
